The baking bag will be swelling during baking, to avoid the baking bag touching the heating wire accidentally, please measure your oven size before purchase.
The dimensions of the suckling pig with the container are about 22cm D x 32cm W x 7cm H.
It is recommended to reserve 30cm for the depth and 40cm for the width in the oven, then please reserve 15cm high between the bottom and top grill position.
How to roast a suckling pig at home easily?
The most addictive things about suckling pigs are their crispy skin and tender taste. But it is not easy to make. So we have prepared this solution for you!
This suckling pig from Spain (one quarter, ~1kg) can be cooked in a household oven! The suckling pig pieces are free of additional seasonings such as baking soda or meat tenderizer. The ingredients are 100% natural that only marinaded in saltwater. This process can remove excess blood and turn the meat to become moist and flavourful!
The suckling pig is so crispy and juicy after rested, you can eat it with some sweet & sour fresh fruit garnish, very appetizing, and cleanse the palate!
Spanish Suckling Pig, ready to roast (1.1kg to 1.5kg)
2) Preheat the oven to 190°C. (Top & Bottom, turn on fan function if appear.)
3) Remove the carton box, and take the fruit garnish back to the chill freezer.
4) Do not remove the suckling pig from its baking bag. Spread out the bag properly and place it back on the tray with the skin facing upwards.
5) Place the suckling pig on the bottom rack in oven, bake at 190°C for 2.5 hours. (DO NOT open the oven frequently during roasting.)
6) Take the suckling pig out of the oven. Open the bag using scissors, place the suckling pig on a plate and let it rest for 2-3 minutes. Cut and plate the servings. (Suckling Pig will become juicier after rested.)
7) Add the fruit garnish on the side of each serving. (NEVER on the crispy skin.)
