Imported from Italy, our Provolone Dolce is a semi-hard cheese with a smooth, mild, and slightly nutty flavor. While it’s an Italian classic, in Argentina it’s at the heart of provoleta — the beloved starter of any authentic asado.
How to enjoy it (Provoleta style):

On the grill: Cut a thick slice (about 2–3 cm), place it in a small cast-iron pan or on a grill-safe dish, and cook over medium heat until golden and bubbling. Finish with a sprinkle of oregano, chili flakes, or chimichurri.

In the oven: Place the slice in a small ovenproof dish, bake at 200°C until the cheese melts and forms a crispy crust. Serve immediately with warm bread.
Serving tip: Best enjoyed hot, straight from the pan, shared among friends with crusty bread and a glass of Malbec.
